Replacing vidalia with stem on the front page I've been a little worried about stem's discoverability for a while now. Over this last month I've been investing a lot of time into making stem's site (https://stem.torproject.org/) beginner friendly for newcomers that want to develop against tor, but that's all for not if they don't even know that it exists. Vidalia is both inactive and no longer used on its own (it's either used as part of the Tor Browser or not at all), hence there is little reason that visitors to our site would be interested in knowing about it. Replacing Vidalia with Stem on the project grid of the front page. I'm also replacing stem's logo with one of a slightly higher quality. I asked armadev on irc if he had any objections to this but no reply (my guess is that he doesn't really care much, though it might also be that he's too distracted with the obfs2 blocking discussion and forgot my question). https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/0bacd7bd3bab6bd87f3ad81a0351dcae7e2b7173 atagar@torproject.org (Damian Johnson) Tue, 16 Apr 2013 18:31:39 +0200 0bacd7bd3bab6bd87f3ad81a0351dcae7e2b7173 Edit the obfsproxy instructions to use pip. https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/f6f44316cda6c006a249ec8dba6461f4124ff02d desnacked@riseup.net (George Kadianakis) Mon, 15 Apr 2013 19:50:34 +0200 f6f44316cda6c006a249ec8dba6461f4124ff02d Small improvement to the obfsproxy installation instructions. https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/eef87f7d2b6171832ddde13c6e7e2629cf176ece desnacked@riseup.net (George Kadianakis) Sat, 13 Apr 2013 14:54:39 +0200 eef87f7d2b6171832ddde13c6e7e2629cf176ece Switch obfsproxy setup instructions to install the Python version. https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/59ada101a4ff4f3de0e8126d80501af1b0e70d64 desnacked@riseup.net (George Kadianakis) Fri, 12 Apr 2013 18:42:35 +0200 59ada101a4ff4f3de0e8126d80501af1b0e70d64 removed old torbutton FAQ from navigation (#6567) https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/44f32d536e3425c38dcfbf636d3d58f5e0071b4c moritz@torproject.org (Moritz Bartl) Thu, 11 Apr 2013 09:21:44 +0200 44f32d536e3425c38dcfbf636d3d58f5e0071b4c Raising the JTor activity to moderate Bruce and velope requested for it to be raised. I'm tempted to say 'heavy' based on the number of commits, but prior to March there was no activity at all for two years so I'm gonna hold off on doing that until we see if this is maintained or a flash in the pan. https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/d10adb19027ada44a5a709b92fbc40c2dcfd27e0 atagar@torproject.org (Damian Johnson) Wed, 10 Apr 2013 16:52:43 +0200 d10adb19027ada44a5a709b92fbc40c2dcfd27e0 Couple more GSoC projects from sjmurdoch https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/7ffe50e7d2b8dae2eec92cd4d149dc025f0b75f5 atagar@torproject.org (Damian Johnson) Tue, 09 Apr 2013 18:41:49 +0200 7ffe50e7d2b8dae2eec92cd4d149dc025f0b75f5 Better emphasizing GSoC is different from OPW Someone showed up on irc confused, thinking that we were primarily mentoring through OPW. The two programs have different requirements and GSoC is a far, far larger program for us. https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/1b852e01c38749b6a9cfb923aef7625b79a5180c atagar@torproject.org (Damian Johnson) Tue, 09 Apr 2013 18:05:53 +0200 1b852e01c38749b6a9cfb923aef7625b79a5180c Update year in GSoC page title https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/626219e11f7f139425d3f455bff791a6241ea874 karsten.loesing@gmx.net (Karsten Loesing) Tue, 09 Apr 2013 12:23:45 +0200 626219e11f7f139425d3f455bff791a6241ea874 Dropping the navbar menu from stem's gsoc idea Project was too tasty, did it this last weekend. :P https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/7db311d3e88dac8dbf14d55e8efb41ba3d3954f5 atagar@torproject.org (Damian Johnson) Tue, 09 Apr 2013 05:48:32 +0200 7db311d3e88dac8dbf14d55e8efb41ba3d3954f5
