Remove old torbirdy logo, pointed out by mrphs This also caused an issue on case-insensitive file systems. https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/d1f6a0cad2dc0748fc6810902bc27e937a704b3b sebastian@torproject.org (Sebastian Hahn) Mon, 17 Nov 2014 00:51:42 +0100 d1f6a0cad2dc0748fc6810902bc27e937a704b3b Updating the volunteer page project table Besides updating the activity levels we list this includes the following changes... * Combining Torbutton and TorLauncher into TorBrowser. TorButton no longer exists on its own, and our link to TorLauncher no longer worked. Pointing to TorButton's codebase since that's getting most activity, and the TorBrowser repo says it's for "old, pre 3.x". * Dropping Orchid again. It hasn't received any commits since November 2013 (a full year) - if the project indeed is still active somewhere then we need an updated link. * Dropped chiiph from Vidalia. He's been gone for a long time now, and we should be upfront that we don't have a maintainer. Adjusted maintainers elsewhere where appropriate to match who's actually working on things. * Dropping Torouter as it's been inactive since 2011 and isn't used in practice. There's lots of neat directions this space can go, but presently this codebase isn't it. * Listing the new maintainer of torsocks. https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/05c1b605d82f66a2b36453c4507b7dff3da65ec9 atagar@torproject.org (Damian Johnson) Fri, 14 Nov 2014 18:22:49 +0100 05c1b605d82f66a2b36453c4507b7dff3da65ec9 Improving the readme instructions Roger's instructions were nice, but they were still a wall of text. When I run into a readme I want it to help me get things set up quickly. As such, adding brief setup instrucions and a troubleshooting section. Roger's instructions were also missing the ascidoc dependency. https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/43377598d49ab106be6d8d13fbbceae612b6d4ac atagar@torproject.org (Damian Johnson) Fri, 14 Nov 2014 17:34:04 +0100 43377598d49ab106be6d8d13fbbceae612b6d4ac We want people to have at least 250KB to be a relay https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/681691dabb8819f4c62b4a6c78f5962a581c4e36 sebastian@torproject.org (Sebastian Hahn) Fri, 14 Nov 2014 09:18:43 +0100 681691dabb8819f4c62b4a6c78f5962a581c4e36 Merge branch 'staging' Conflicts: projects/en/torbrowser.wml https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/1e4e965c1012934f5da78f47077fcc17db83c661 sebastian@torproject.org (Sebastian Hahn) Thu, 13 Nov 2014 19:18:15 +0100 1e4e965c1012934f5da78f47077fcc17db83c661 for sure https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/aa389623ac4547618a471d4e342040139e3c8414 sebastian@torproject.org (Sebastian Hahn) Thu, 13 Nov 2014 19:12:29 +0100 aa389623ac4547618a471d4e342040139e3c8414 grr. there has to be a better way https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/28a9106eb8bc4ecd7d2043ab02b4389eb689ae7a sebastian@torproject.org (Sebastian Hahn) Thu, 13 Nov 2014 19:06:36 +0100 28a9106eb8bc4ecd7d2043ab02b4389eb689ae7a comment out alpha section on torbrowser page https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/f3b21a8045b94f058c75cff4f6470e98e2ec1899 sebastian@torproject.org (Sebastian Hahn) Thu, 13 Nov 2014 18:57:37 +0100 f3b21a8045b94f058c75cff4f6470e98e2ec1899 comment out alpha section on torbrowser page https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/995f9e366bdfc44c2e5fe0d50e5edd620133fab6 sebastian@torproject.org (Sebastian Hahn) Thu, 13 Nov 2014 18:57:14 +0100 995f9e366bdfc44c2e5fe0d50e5edd620133fab6 rephrase backdoor faq entry https://git.schokokeks.org/tor-webwml.git/commit/1c8ac595cbd13bb0e2cbc01092f451b93b55f2c0 sebastian@torproject.org (Sebastian Hahn) Tue, 11 Nov 2014 06:49:17 +0100 1c8ac595cbd13bb0e2cbc01092f451b93b55f2c0
